Data Deletion Request

Step 1 — Delete Local Data

Uninstall the Vocastar - vocabook app from your device. All locally stored data (bookmarks, custom entries, learning progress, preferences) will be removed automatically.

• Android: Long-press the Vocastar - vocabook icon → Uninstall (or go to Settings → Apps → Vocastar - vocabook → Uninstall)

If you want to keep the App but only clear stored data: Settings → Apps → Vocastar - vocabook → Storage → "Clear data". You can also clear bookmarks, custom entries, and learning history individually from within the App's settings.

Step 2 — Delete Backup Files (.json)

If you've exported a .json backup using the in-app backup feature, that file is stored in your device's Downloads folder or wherever you saved it. You'll need to delete it manually using your file manager. These files are saved on your own device and are never transmitted to our servers.

Step 3 — Reset Advertising Identifier (Optional)

To prevent further ad-related data collection by Google AdMob:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (or Reset advertising ID)

Step 4 — In-App Purchase (Remove Ads)

If you've made the one-time in-app purchase to remove ads, that record is kept by your Google Play account, not by us. Purchase history can be reviewed or managed through:

• Google Play Order History

For refund or purchase deletion requests, please contact Google Play support directly.

Step 5 — Contact Us for Additional Requests

If you have additional concerns or want confirmation that all data related to your use of the App has been removed, please contact us:

• Your device model (optional)
• Approximate date you started using the App (optional)

We will respond to your request within 30 days. Note that since we do not maintain user accounts or server-side data, our response will typically confirm that no server-side data exists for you.
